Day 1 - Sofia

I won't do this everywhere I stay but as it's day 1 and hotel 1, I'll do a short review.

Hotel Alegra

Location - 4 Shopska salads
Actually, it's in a residential area with nothing around it but the central bus station - but then I need the central bus station.

Facilities - 4 Shopska salads
Given the ridiculous (cheap) price, it's fine! A proper toilet, hot water, shower (sort of), bed (sort of), locks on doors etc. etc. WiFi is 10 times faster than at home would you believe!

Customer Service - 5 Shopska salads
Ivo has proven to be more of a personal tour guide than hotelier. Picked me up from the airport, took me to the bus station, bought me a ticket for tomorrow. showed me the loo, gardens, hotel restaurant (pics below).

Guests - 4 Shopska salads
2 South Korean tourists and a smily Bulgarian girl on business I believe. Her business stay allowance obviously doesn't stretch that far.

Overall - 4 Shopska salads
No complaints at all. room to myself and a decent guy with a customer oriented approach to business. The Hilton it is not but I suspect I'll stay in worse. Much worse.

Hotel facade with modest branding

All you can eat breakfast buffet (doubles up as the bar in the evenings)
